Meet The Team
We’re an award-winning landscape design and build team based in the Lehigh Valley, passionate about transforming outdoor spaces. We work with homeowners and businesses to create timeless, functional landscapes that elevate the way people live and interact with the outdoors.
Mike Kline has been a driving force behind Fernrock Landscapes since 2003, bringing passion, precision, and a visionary approach to every outdoor space. Known for his hands-on leadership and deep understanding of natural design, Mike ensures every project receives the attention it deserves—from concept to completion.
With a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware Valley University, Mike pairs formal training with over two decades of field experience in landscape construction, project management, and client care. His work is guided by a belief that great landscapes are built not only with skill, but with intention and heart.
Outside of Fernrock, Mike serves as Fire Chief and President of the Upper Milford Western District Fire Company. He also supports his wife’s equestrian business, continuing a life dedicated to craftsmanship, community, and the outdoors.
As one of the original proprietors of Fernrock Landscapes, Ron brings over 30 years of industry expertise, field knowledge, and hands-on problem-solving to every project. With a degree in Ornamental Nursery Management from Penn State University and a long-standing commitment to excellence, Ron has helped shape Fernrock into the trusted name it is today.
His extensive experience spans both horticulture and construction, with certifications in pesticide and herbicide application, and a background that includes work with the Southeast Regional IPM Research Group. Whether he’s operating complex machinery, diagnosing plant health, or troubleshooting site challenges, Ron is known for getting the job done right—with precision and care.
Outside the field, Ron enjoys time with his children, cheering on football and baseball, and unwinding beside a good campfire.
